How do I earn Hop Dollars?

Purchases of certain drinks at the bar will credit your account with Hop Dollars. You will be able to accrue Hop Dollars at any time of the day or night, just present your card when paying for your drinks.

At what rate will I earn Hop Dollars?

Hop Dollars are accrued as a percentage of the purchase price of certains drinks. For example a pint of Challenger earns at a rate of 10% and has a sale price of $6.50, so your account will be credited with $0.65 for every pint purchased.

Rates may change from time to time. At certain quieter times of the week or during the winter months Hop Dollars may be accrued at a faster rate.

How do I check my Hop Dollars account balance?

Simply ask any member of the bar staff and they will be able to tell you your balance, which can be used against purchases at any time.

How do I spend my Hop Dollars?

Hop Dollars can be used as whole or part payment for food and drinks purchased from The Twisted Hop. Simply present your card at the bar when paying for food or drink and your account will be debited. Hop Dollars may not be taken as cash.

How do I join The Hop Club?

Simply ask at the bar for an application form or download the file. Fill out and return the form, with your joining fee, and the next day you will be able to start accruing Hop Dollars. You will be sent your card in the post, but once your details are in the system you will be able to earn Hop dollars against purchases by giving proof of identity.

How much does it cost to join The Hop Club?

There is a one-off joining fee of $10 to cover administration and the cost of printing your card.

What other benefits are there to joining The Hop Club?

By becoming a member you will have your name added to our email mailing list and will receive our monthly email newsletter. Special offers for Hop Club members will be publicised by way of the newsletter and notices in the bar. Certain items of food and drink may accrue additional Hop Dollars as special offers. What is The Hop 100 Club?

If you are lucky enough to drink 100 pints of either Golding Bitter, Twisted Ankle or Challenger you will become a member of The Hop 100 Club! In recognition of your dedication to consuming great beer you will have your name inscribed on a plaque to be placed on the wall behind the bar and you will receive a free T-shirt recognising your achievement. There will be three tiers of membership to this exclusive club,

Bronze if you drink 100 pints of one of our real ales (eg 100 pints of Challenger)

Silver if you drink 100 pints each of any two of our real ales (eg 100 pints of Challenger and 100 pints of Golding Bitter).

Gold if you manage 100 pints of all three (300 pints in total).

You must be a member of The Hop Club for your pints to be counted.

Can I purchase additional Hop Dollars for my account?

Yes you can credit money to your account and use it against any future purchases at The Twisted Hop. Such credits are nonrefundable.
