CASK CONDITIONED DRAUGHT BEER
These beers are brewed on site in the traditional English manner. Using English malt and a combination of English and New Zealand Hops, the beers undergo their final fermentation in the barrel that they are served from. The beer is fresh and alive at the time of serving. The Twisted Hop is one of only two such breweries in New Zealand. Our beer is dispensed by hand-pump, to produce a creamy head that will last to the bottom of the glass. The carbonation is entirely natural being a by product of the ongoing fermentation. The beer is conditioned and served at 10 C.

Golding Bitter 3.7% A light fragrant beer with a fruity aroma, a typical English 'session beer' $8.00 pint
Challenger 5.0% A well hopped and full bodied special bitter $8.30 pint
Twisted Ankle 5.9% A strong dark ale, malty and dangerously easy to drink - beware! $8.50 pint

Seasonal Brew We usually have a seasonal brew, that may be a brown ale, a stout, an IPA or another style.

We can now supply barrels of our real ale for your private party or function off-site. See Details

We have selected a range of beers from other New Zealand microbreweries to supplement our own brews. These beers are served colder, at around 5 C.
