Swing 42 are four Christchurch musicians playing in the style of Django Reinhardt and other contemporary gypsy swing players. Guitarists Keith Petch and Bob Heinz have a long standing interest and involvement in this style of jazz and are joined with the remarkable talents of Reuben Derrick on clarinet and saxophone and Mike Kime on double bass.

The Courtenay Washington Trio have been regular performers at the Hop before and we welcome Courtenay back with Andrew Genge on Guitar and Brent Thompson on bass. Courtenay is undoubtedly one of the country's finest jazz vocalists. She has been performing both locally and internationally for the past ten years to much critical acclaim.
